Some Ford dealerships offered a Pickup & Delivery service in the early days of the pandemic. This convenient service allowed customers to have their cars maintained at their homes while still being safe. The public and dealerships loved the experience and saw an increase in customer satisfaction.
Ford announced, starting March 1, that it will make Pickup & Delivery services available to its 8.5 million FordPass, Rewards members across the country. Ford is also expanding its FordPass Rewards program with new tiers, including Bronze, Silver, and Blue levels. This will reward and recognize its most loyal customers. Members who are in the top two tiers (Blue and Silver) will be eligible to receive an annual free Pickup & Delivery service.
Ford has delivered approximately 100,000 pickup and delivery services in the U.S. since March 2020. Customers simply call their dealer to make an appointment and request a pickup at home or work. Customers receive an update via phone, text, or e-mail on the day of service to keep them informed about their vehicle’s progress.
